Yes, we call this mode of operation "Offline Mode."
To fully utilize Perch, you need a WiFi connection; however, Perch is operational without one.
Offline Mode will allow you to use your Perch unit and get live feedback. You will not have the option to store any information. This is helpful for when you are in a facility without access to WiFi. You can think of this operation mode as a "Tendo without a string."
To initiate Offline Mode do the following:
- When your tablet prompts you to log in, you can select “Offline Mode”
- It will ask you for a password. Please contract your Perch representative for the offline password if you don't have it already.
- Once input, you may now lift and receive feedback. None of your data will be saved.
- If you switch back to a facility with WiFi, you can log into your admin account by clicking the "Settings" button in the bottom right of the screen and clicking "Log In." Then enter your email and password.
We recommend using Perch in online mode as often as possible, but there are situations that can be solved by going offline.
